This project provides homes for vulnerable people living in rural communities of Zambia, which have been decimated by the HIV/AIDS pandemic. Women, children and elderly are living in deplorable conditions, struggling on less than 50p a day. Each home costs £400. 100% will go into the project

Widows and elderly grandaprents are too poor to provide decent accommadation for the orphans. Homes are overcrowded and delapidated. with as many as seven people sleeping in a tiny mud hut, increasing the risk of infection and infection.
The Butterfly Tree builds substantial mud huts complete with concrete floors and a secured doors These a larger and more sturdily built using professional thatching and will last much longer. Local builders are used and the families are encouraged to maintain their new homes. Widows and the elderly have an improved environment to sleep in and the orphans have a better home
