    Situation

The full details of this flexible, responsive research grants programme will be formally announced in January '08, however it is likely that the programme will be split into; a) Seed core grants to test and prove ideas and initiatives b) Developmental grants to take seed core ideas and allow them to be developed into deliverable programmes c) A stratgic partner in research - to take an area of under funding within cancer and seek, along with a strategic partner, to raise the levels of cancer care research in that field PowerUp will be overseen by a world class Advisory Board, details of whom are available upon request.
