Situation
v i s y o n’ s counselling service is expanding at a significant rate. Our professional service is now offered in many locations, but in order to continue to provide on-going free counselling, a team of volunteer counsellors needs to be recruited, developed and trained. Funding of £25,000 will provide a Volunteer Co-ordinator to recruit a team of some 10 volunteer counsellors in a range of locations in the North West, who will be trained and further developed in counselling therapy techniques and placed in community locations and high school “Drop In” centres to enable increased access to the free service
