“I went from someone who found it difficult to walk down the street to someone with a real future” - Client A Young people and their families need the free counselling service offered by v i s y o n to help them through the profound difficulties they are experiencing. These include self-harm, depression, anxiety, anger, abuse (physical, sexual or mental), bullying, bereavement, family breakdown, eating disorders, substance abuse (alcohol or drugs), suicidal feelings, school problems, relationship or behavioural problems etc. v i s y o n’ s service is expanding significantly and we are now being asked to provide counselling in many new locations. However, we want to continue to offer a free service to our clients. “Time & Space” receives no statutory funding and needs around £50,000 per annum to continue to offer free counselling and support to young people in distress. A donation of £5,000 will enable v i s y o n to fund around 170 free counselling sessions over the course of a year.
