Against any measure, Gypsies and Travellers experience the poorest life outcomes of any minority ethnic group in the UK today (often shockingly worse than other groups in society) and they still suffer a high degree of prejudice, racism and abuse. As well as helping hundreds of individuals and families every year we use the data that we collect to influence social policy so as to bring about positive change within society.

By carrying out detailed support, advocacy and casework with our clients we have built up a body of data, knowledge and expertise that we use to raise the awareness of Government, local government and mainstream agencies of the barriers that Gypsies and Travellers face in accessing basic services such as health and social care, education, housing, access to justice and access to democracy. In this way we hope to not only solve individual problems but also bring about real changes in society.
