    Situation

    The Engineer will be required to: - Assist CED Project Directors with operational work overseas and in the UK - Carry out field investigations, surveys and project preparation for new projects requested by organiosations in developing countries - design project works and produce drawings and documents for implementation and assist with applications to donors for funding - Unbdertake supervisory visits to project sites and liaise with local partners - Asssist local partners and Project Directors with progress reporting to funding agencies and donors. - Assist with the training of local technical staff as required In fulfilling these requirements the Engineer will travel extensively.
