    Situation

The aim of the Appeal is to raise enough money to ensure that girls whose parents cannot afford Independent School fees can receive financial help through means-tested bursaries for the duration of their 7 years in the Senior School. The Appeal will also ensure that the Withington Girls' School Trust can support any girl whose family suffers an unforeseen fiancial crisis while she is a pupil at the School. Every year, bright spirited girls pass the entrance examination but are unable to take up their place beacsue their families cannot afford school fees. Our aim is that no girl with high academic potential should be denied a place at the School becasue of their financial background.
