Situation
Our facilities are currently used by ourselves to run community projects and other local organisations. As well as our Sunday services we run a childrens club on a Wednesday evening which is attended by around 30-40 children. On a Friday morning we run a Mums and Tots morning attended by approximately 30 mums with children. On a Friday evening we run 2 different aged youth clubs, attracting up to 100 teenagers from the local community. We have contact with the local police who are very supportive of the activities we run. All these events are staffed by volunteers from the church. As well as our own activities, our current facilities are also used by the local Rainbows and Brownies organisations, with weight watchers also meeting weekly in our current meeting hall. In the future we plan to but our new building to other uses dependent on funding and staffing.
