We are a very small home ( registered for 12 ). We would like to provide activities for the residents who have dementia. This would be an extra staff whose sole role would be to provide meaningful occupation and to provide theraphy for all of the residents. We are unable to provide this ourselves due to financial considerations. I feel this is a very important aspect of the care we give. All of the residents who have dementia have worked tirelessly and gave so much to the community. I would like to think that I could help them, now, live out the rest of their live meaningfully.
