To provide people with more than furniture - cutlery, pots and pans, crockery to go with the cooker and bedding for the bed etc. We need someone to co-ordinate access to goods at a national level - e.g. obtaining end of line/shop spoiled goods and organising logistics to get them where they are needed.

The aims - building upon existing re-use projects and communities that wish to help (such as religious congregations) To promote the development of new schemes and to support existing ones To share good practice on running and financing schemes To promote links between organisations and individuals at a local level who are interested in starter pack schemes To work with homelessness and advice bodies interested in this work To obtain items to distribute to schemes,using national and regional contacts The money would allow us to employ a co-ordinator for the scheme and to deliver the aims above. The packs would be for people with nothing moving from hostels and temporary accommodation into their first home - mainly homeless families and refugees
