For many years the BBS has offered a loan system to individuals who are recovering from injury or surgery and need the short term use of a particular wheelchair or other mobilty equipment. In recent years the range of wheelchairs available have increased significantly and the stock we currently have is dated and limited. Ideally this will be done by placing an order through one supplier for different models from one or two manufacturers. This will give us flexiblity in making sure that each wheelchair can be modified to the correct specification for the individual needs.
