Not only does Hidden Histories link into the Primary curriculum, but it also reaches beyond Pegasus' existing spectrum of users, therefore offering opportunities to those who otherwise may not have been exposed to these art forms, or have visited Pegasus before due to having limited access to transport, and a lack of financial support.

Young people will take an active role in exploring their community's heritage, connecting young and old in sharing memories, stories of times gone by. The teachers and after school club workers will also learn more about the young people in their care. A sense of ownership and pride will be reflected in the final performance and contributors and local residents from their respective neighbourhood will be able to see how their stories have influence and are interwoven into the project.
