    Situation

Life is hard for children living in Darfur. It is one of the harshest environments on earth and although it is hot in the day, it can get very cold at night. Providing children with blankets has been proven to reduce their rate of respiratory infections, a major killer in this region where many, many children will die before their fifth birthday. Mosquito nets, too, are vital in the fight against disease. £27 buys two blankets for one hut, and £12 buys a mosquito net big enough to cover two children. A donation of £100,000 could help over 2,000 families. Please help Kids for Kids provide families living in desperate conditions with these two basic items and help them survive.
