    Situation

We will be celebrating our 10th Birthday next year - and I need your help please! Please will you contact anyone you know who is famous in some way - celebrity, politician, footballer, sportsman, pop star, and of course artists - and ask them if they can give us just 5 minutes of their time please! If you spot anyone you think might help and do not know them it is possible to find contact details either with them, or perhaps their agent, on the internet. We need as many pictures as we can get! "Drawn . . . to Darfur" will start as a limited edition book of drawings, paintings, doodles and sketches, produced by famous people, to help the children of Darfur. These are the invisible children in the villages who have never had a toy, or a second dress - or even a blanket. It doesn't matter how simple the work is - it's the thought that counts. We will then have an Art Exhibition for our 10th Birthday in 2011, and auction the original artwork at a Charity event later in the year. Every penny raised will go to help the children of Darfur. I would be thrilled if you could help with this project. May I also ask for a photograph of the celebrity, and a few words saying anything he/she likes! I am of course hoping that some people will want to draw goats and donkeys! These small creatures make a huge difference to the lives of children; but this isn't essential!
