    Situation

A child with a sensory processing disorder has difficulty taking in visual, auditory, tactile, vestibular and other sensory information and processing it. He may feel overwhelmed or seek more input. A child presenting with gross motor or fine motor skill delays has difficulties carrying out basic actions like running, balancing, getting dressed, holding a pencil correctly and much more. This limits his ability to achieve, damages his social status and disables him from living independently.

    Solution

We will provide Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy sessions which will be conducted in a sensory-rich environment to children with such disabilities. These will help them to better manage their responses to sensations and to behave in a more functional manner. They will also enable them to complete everyday tasks independently and thus become integrated and productive members of society.
