    Situation

On average 13,000 young people visit the site per month. They can use the service without leaving any trace on their computer so they don’t have to worry about parents or carers finding out. Particularly useful for those with disabilities, young people can choose from a variety of mediums through which they can express their concerns: Ask Sam – an ‘agony aunt’ service; message boards – allowing them to share experience and advice with others; a private inbox service – to receive messages from trained counsellors; and innovative one-to-one ‘chat’ sessions with trained counsellors.
