Situation
In the early 1990s it was estimated that there were around 40,000 tigers in India, now it is believed that this number has fallen to around 1500. If numbers continue to fall then the tiger population in India will no longer be viable.
Solution
The project will work with expert teams on the ground to take direct action in the local communities around the Ranthambhore National Park to alleviate pressure on the tiger's natural habitats.
