We have 3 main areas that we need to enhance to enable us to continue the services we currently provide and to meet the demand of approx 5 new members a month. These are 1) replace our current 14 year old minibus 2) Renovate our garage to remove unsafe Asbestos and to accommodate 2 new buses, and 3) provide 3 new Visiting Officers to help many more blind and partially sighted Housebound people to remain as independent, as possible within their own homes

The provision on a 2 new buses and the garage to accommodate them will help us reach many more members and allow them to access all the services we provide both at the centre and out and about. 3 More VOs mean we could double the home care service we provide from 80 members a week to 160. Reaching so many more people will mean many more will no longer be lonely, isolated or have to go into a home.
