There is a lack of professional opportunities for singers and musicians in the early part of their careers to work in a safe and supportive environment to improve their artistry and in particular to work with an orchestra. Mid Wales Opera is an essential part of the 'ecology' of opera, a stepping stone between the colleges and the main opera houses.

Our team of experienced professionals will work with a variety of singers and musicians at various levels of their career/training, offering intensive coaching, tuition and masterclasses on public performance and presentation, the chance to work with an orchestra, use of workshop skills and working with young people and, essentially, public performance.
