    Situation

Linked to the Orchestra's residency at the Congress Theatre, we work closely with the East Sussex Music Service. Members of the orchestra will be working with the South Downs Youth Orchestra in coaching sessions and performances throughout the year. In addition, you can hear the results of a special project in pre-concert events on 7 June 2009 at 2.00pm. To ensure that cost is not a barrier to participation, none of the students will be asked to pay anything to take part. As the Orchestra does not receive public funding for this or for any of its education projects, we ask for your support to help us make this programme possible this season.
