The Camps aim to give young people aged 8-17 years the opportunity to broaden their musical experience, improve their skills and share their enjoyment of music with others. Each summer, the campsite is located alongside The Stables Theatre, offering young people the opportunity to perform in a professional venue whilst sleeping under canvas in the beautiful rural setting of Wavendon.
Inspiring Young Musicians Evidence of the success of the educational opportunities at The Stables is seen in the number of young people who have been inspired on their path towards a musical career or an interest in music for life. The Stables Camps & Courses Alumni scheme has recently been set up to reunite past students and tutors through a network of communication, as well as creating initiatives to encourage support for current and future camps, and other education events at The Stables.
