Creating new opera and touring it is an expensive business – particularly at the standard and scale at which we work. We have the regular and on-going support of the Arts Councils of England and Wales - a great endorsement of the value and quality of our work - but there is always a considerable gap to fill to enable us to commission, create and tour a new opera every year. We are interested in conversations with creative philanthropists who might like to support us intellectually, practically and financially in this mission.
