In 2011 we will build a bridge from our outdoor adventure centre to a previously inaccessible lake in the beautiful Stanwick Lakes complex. This will enable us to offer sailing and other instructed watersports to residents of Northamptonshire and young people visiting our activity centre.

Solution
This project will increase public participation in sport, and in particular young people's access to a new and often hard to access sport. It will stretch our activity and trainee activity instructors, who will need to gain new qualifications and experience in order to instruct watersports. It will provide an attractive draw and help to increase visitor numbers to this part of rural Northamptonshire, thus affecting the local economy.
