    Situation

Ecological connectivity is vital if our environment and the wildlife it supports are to adapt to climate change. The project would present an ideal opportunity for public involvement and education, particularly with the use of innovative technology and IT systems to provide real time views of animals such as foxes, badgers, water voles and otters in urban settings. Outcomes would range from important conservation benefits for protected species to enhancements in urban greenspaces that can fulfil health and well-being objectives. Public surveys and school liaison would be an integral part of the project and will deliver a wider general understanding of biodiversity and sustainability, and also more
