Situation

Girls and young women aged 12- 24 years, living in urban poor areas at risk of early pregnancy, early motherhood, child marriage and sexual exploitation in Freetown, Sierra Leone. In addition poor living conditions and poverty are factors that increase the girls at risk. The girls run the heightened risks of HIV, ostracisation in the community and by their families. Girls are made to feel isolated and vulnerable.
