    Situation

This project will see the complete restoration of the roof and roof structure, ensuring that the building is weathertight, enabling future phases to be programmed. The current roof dates from the 1920's and is in poor condition, resulting in constant water leaks damaging the fabric of this Grade 2 Listed building. The roof restoration is essential to protect the building and its historic decorations and contents, including The Curzon Collection of historic cinema projection and other equipment. The roof project will be managed in a way that protects our 'continuous operation' status, so that the cinema rmeains as a continuing resource for the local community.
