A complete sound recording studio in a sturdy, easily transportable suitcase has been developed by Feba Radio UK Audio Systems Team using decades of experience of remote situations and inexperienced users. Applications include community FM stations, training events and disaster response.

Situation
In addition to development costs, already covered, each unit costs typically £5000 to assemble, deliver to location, and provide training for users. In most cases the users can cover very little of this cost and Feba provide them as part of our charitable activity. Each application is scrutinised regarding the ultimate purpose, the viability of the project and skill level of potential staff. Feba have deployed over 20 of these 2004-2007, mainly in Africa and the Middle East, and have now developed the "Mark Five" from lessons learned so far. Ramping up production of these will depend mainly on funding.
