Cycle 2 End the Cycle is a brand new campaign by The Haven which will see 6 brave women cycle over 270 miles in just 4 days from London to Paris in order to raise £40,000 to support The Haven's Counselling Service for women and children affected by Domestic Violence.

Situation
The Haven's Counselling Service has proven difficult to fund over the years despite acting as a lifeline for women and children affected by abuse. Counselling is not always a popular service amongst funders however domestic violence can have an immediate and longer term negative impact on survivors of abuse. We need to ensure that the Counselling Service which is under threat of closure from March 2012 can continue to support women and children at crisis point.
Solution
The Haven has organised a London to Paris Cycle Challenge in 2012 to raise £40,000 for the Counselling Service. In the process of organising this event we will be engaging with individual supporters, community groups and businesses to help achieve our target and raise awareness of a valuable service for women and children.
