    Situation

The use of music as a tool to address difficult emotional issues and personal concerns is particularly appropriate for people with learning and communication difficulties. Regular sessions will promote a good relationship and bond of trust with the therapist, helping indvidiuals to address feelings of isolation, frustration, fear or anger. Support staff at the care homes will attend workshops to understand the process of music therapy. These workshops will help them to support the residents on an ongoing basis.
