This campaign has now closed

During the Olympic Games in London in 2012 we are planning to run a large poster campaign on the public transport of the city, and indeed in other places where events are being hosted. We are now beginning to seeking specific funds towards these campaigns.

    Situation

The sky is the limit in terms of the numbers of posters that we display during the year, provided that we can book the sites, which is why we are beginning to plan now. We are already in consultation with the main advertising agency and will probably need to book the site in early 2011. We therefore need to have the funding in place so that bookings can be made at the earliest opportunity. We are continuing to seek funds from Churches, Grant-making Trusts, Businesses and individuals towards this exciting project - the opportunity to display the 'Word of God', in a relevant way, to the travelling public during this international event. Our initial target is £100k which, at current rates, would see around 8,000 posters displayed for at least a month on buses. Other options will also be considered such as London Underground and the Docklands Light Railway, but costs for these mediums are considerably higher. The fund will be kept open for as long as possible to obtain the maximun amount possible. We are working with 'More than Gold' (MTG) in order to try and co-ordinate poster designs that link with other forms of Christian literature etc. that will be produced for use during the games. If you would like more information, or to sponsor a campaign in a specific area, please contact us as soon as possible. Thank you for considering this invitation to partner with us in the work of the Kingdom of God.
