    Situation

GNFC began this exciting project over 8 years ago to help people re-build there lives following periods of crisis such as domestic abuse, child protection procedings, or substance misuse. The goals are to help people gain or renew self esteem and to learn new skills for the work place. Well over 100 people have accessed the farm, and many have successfully move on to employment. Others would never be able to fit in or maintain employment in a competitive environment but are able to achieve self worth and useful occupation in a caring and supportive community at the farm. Items are made and grown to sell at the markets and together with the free- range egg production the farm is working it's way toward sustainability, last year achieving and income of almost £14,000. We need to increase the capacity and output to fully achieve sustainability, and so would like to secure the shortfall for the current worker, and employ a further member of staff for three years to enable growth to take place more quickly. The salary costs relating to Farm Project Workers are as follows; Salary £15,912 Employers N.I. Contribution £1,341 Total £17,253 per annum Total over 3 years £51,759 per worker
