    Situation

The World At My Feet aims to encourage public dialogue about the radical changes needed to address our impact on the earth and building a viable global community. The set is made entirely of rubbish and recycled materials and the play depicts the scavenger communities that live and work on the trash sites in Indonesia and around the world.

    Solution

The impact of the performance is illustrated in the quote below: “Over the next years, initiatives such as this will be invaluable in helping us all imagine a future where we will have to live within the planet’s limits to sustain life on our beautiful earth. This piece was beautiful, challenging and inspiring. I’ve never seen anything thing like this in Jakarta.” Audience member – Jakarta, February 2010.
