    Situation

Trauma is a world-wide problem, but people living in developing countries are particularly hard-hit by it. The project will run a series of training courses, which have already been used in 35 developing countries. At the end of these courses we will have trained Ethiopian health professionals in acute trauma management, and also trained a group of local leaders to run and teach further courses themselves, making the project professionally self-sustaining. Our initial course needs funding of £6000, with 2 follow-up courses of £2000 each.
