Support 3 community schools to educate 200 disadvantaged orphans and other vulnerable children who would otherwise be out of school. As no one can learn if they're hungry, we will also fund school meals for over 1,000 children, ensuring they are able to focus on their lessons.

54% of people in Zambia live below the poverty line and life for children there is tough. There are over a million orphans in the country, many of whom have lost one of both parents to AIDS. In Zambia and education costs money and many orphans and other vulnerable children cannot afford to go to school, or drop out at a very early age. An education will give these children vital skills that will equip them to gain jobs when they read adulthood and lead more independent lives.
