Situation
there are more than 9000 people over 65 who live alone in Southwark. Too many of them are lonely and isolated, with over half of older people saying the television is their main form of company.
Solution
By working with volunteers we can deliver valuable services which alleviate loneliness and isolation, bring members of our community together, improve older people's health and wellbeing, and help to create a stronger, happier and healthier local society.
