To transform a landmark building in central London into a space where hundreds of people can benefit from the tried and tested methods of Tibetan Buddhism to improve their emotional balance, focus and wellbeing.
It ran from 12:00 AM, 1 August 2011 to 12:00 AM, 1 June 2013
Registered Charity in England and Wales (1093406)
The building itself - which is Grade II listed - has been neglected for 14 years, and the area around is in need of rejuvenation. Londoners generally are in need of methods of working with mind and emotions in a skilful way, to reduce stress and promote wellbeing.
Our charity has the skills and experience to restore the building to its former glory. Having a thriving community of lay Buddhists living here will bring life to the local area. Making the teachings and meditations of the Karma Kagyu tradition of Tibetan Buddhism available to all (meditation classes are free of charge) will benefit thousands of people in a lasting way.
