The Newbery Tower and the Foulis Building will soon be no more, but we can remember them and their part in the GSA by creating an annual Scholarship in their name. We can do this with your help by creating an endowment fund of £25,000. Please help us remember the Newbery & Foulis!

Situation
The GSA is committed to supporting its students with financial assistance in the form of annual scholarships. In the current climate, this financial support is even more important. As we bid farewell to the Newbery Tower and the Foulis Building, we seek to commemorate our campus buildings with an endowed scholarship set up in their names. In order to offer the Newbery-Foulis Scholarship we need to raise £25,000 by Christmas 2011 while the buildings are still standing.
Solution
If all staff and students who have fond recollections of the Newbery and Foulis were to donate to this project we could build up the Newbery-Foulis Endowment Fund to £25,000. This would then yield sufficient annual income to offer a Newbery-Foulis Scholarship every year. Consequently, these buildings will be remembered in perpetuity as GSA students who need financial support the most continue to receive the Newbery-Foulis Scholarship into the future.
