Supporting the academic work of the School is a particular priority for the GSA. It is through this that you can make a direct impact on the quality of the educational experience we are able to offer our students through the provision of extra-curricular projects, programmes and visiting staff.

Situation
The Glasgow School of Art offers a world class education in Fine Art, Design and Architecture, but there are projects, personnel and facilities that would greatly enhance the core curriculum for our students which are not currently with the School’s budget. These vehicles for academic enhancement can only be offered with external support and can make a real difference to the students’ experience across the disciplines.
Solution
By offering our students access to Professorial Chairs and visiting lecturers; purchasing specialist equipment or supporting student projects and exhibitions, we can greatly enhance and improve the quality and variety of experience for GSA students.
