Deaf Global Xchange is a six month volunteer exchange, which will give young Deaf people from the UK and Nepal a unique opportunity to work together, to develop and share valuable skills and to make a practical contribution in local communities. The exchange programme will start in September 2009 and run for six months.This is the first ever Global exchange programme for Deaf young people. We are proud to be working with an organisation like VSO and this is a fantastic opportunity for Deaf young people all over the UK Sept 2009 to February 2010 9 young Deaf people from Nepal 9 young Deaf people from the UK 3 months in Preston (UK) 3 months in Kathmandu (Nepal) Creating and performing Deaf/Sign Language theatre …and much more!
