The track down to this beautifully situated outdoor residential centre has deteriorated very badly in the last twelve months. We can no longer get our refuse collected and this will become a big headache for us when our first groups of the year start to arrive. We offer basic accomodation to young people and their leaders to enable them to experience the Lake District National Park and associated activities, where many would not otherwise be able to do so. We have been quoted in excess of £4000 for basic repairs to the track, which also requires some drainage work.
