To make significant improvements to the fabric of the original Lodge to improve access for wheelchair users; particularly at mealtimes. We plan to buid a new kitchen and a new wheelchair accessible servery to the dining room with independent access from the dormitory areas.

Situation
The current servery is too small and not wheelchair accessible. There is no independent access to the dining room without going through the common room. There is currently no facility for the storage of refrigerated medicines for visiting groups.
Solution
We plan to build a new kitchen with new servery onto the dining room which is wheelchair accessible. A separate corridor will be built where the existing kitchen is situated. This will improve the common room, which will no longer be a 'corridor'. A new wheelchair accesible deck will be constructed around the building to give good access all round and create an area outside for evening barbeques.
