Arrange a MADD Weekend Away – Music, Arts, Dance and Drama, for 40 disadvantaged young people age 15 - 16 years who have never had a holiday.

Situation
The young people will arrange the weekend, they willplan, make a budget, book a hostel, transport, food, arrange activities, outings, and the MADD entertainment. The young people learn organisational skills, make decisions, work as a team, keep records and see a project to fruition. Most are low academic achievers, so this project is their opportunity to learn life skills and succeed and gain self confidence in non-academic areas. We will provide financial support, adult supervision at the planning stages, and 2 adults go on the weekend. This will be a twice yearly event
