    Situation

MGS has a long tradition of producing plays. Its old boys include Nicholas Hytner, Robert Powell and Sir Ben Kingsley. The project to develop a new drama centre will cost £3.5 million, and the contribution to this from fees is necessarily limited as fees are kept to the lowest possible sensible level in order to maximise access to the school. The new Drama Centre will provide new spaces for rehearsal and teaching, and the facilities will be made available to the local community as much as possible.
