Situation
We urgently need your financial help to enable us to complete our new accessible, carbon neutral, centrally located Advice Centre for the people who work and live in Gateshead and surrounding areas This shortfall has arisen through a combination of increased costs to satisfy additional planning and site services requirements, together with increased restrictions on bank lending
Solution
The new building is urgently needed to accommodate our rapidly growing services and workforce, but is also intended to be a Centre for the community, that will provide additional facilities for their use. It will total approximately 12,000 sq ft and is of a modular, sustainable [carbon neutral] design. It has the dual advantage that it can be constructed very quickly and further floors can be added at a later stage to accommodate further developments
