Situation
This grant will provide the 3 years of core funding needed to create a centre of excellence for sharing and validating the wealth of good practice and professionalism within the school home support sector. The centre will: - Hold a national conference on effective school home support practice - Host three regional events per year to share good practice with schools and local authorities - Produce web based resource documents on effective school home support practice to accompany training courses or to be used independently - Host a national school home support network for local authorities, schools, voluntary organisations, individual consultants and practitioners. - Establish a programme board of key stakeholders to steer the project - Offer training and consultancy services.
