This campaign has now closed

The project will work with 30,000 people in isolated rural areas of Eastern Zambia who currently survive on less than 35 pence a week. Together we will develop real business opportunities to change their lives and earn their way out of poverty through activities such as bee keeping and honey production.

    Situation

We will work with poor, rural families to: 1. Improve basic skills such as marketing and financial management, so that families can develop viable rural businesses 2. Promote collaborative working within the community to buy and sell at the best possible price. 3. Expand access to savings and loans through community managed credit unions. 4. Strengthen and develop local organisations, equipping them with the skills to manage themselves now and in the future. So far 9000 people are back in business thanks to this project. Please help us to change more lives. Thank you.
