MuchLoved have produced a unique and helpful online memorial service and would like more people to know about it. Previous trials of adwords marketing have shown great results and we are looking for sponsorship of £10k to fund a year of marketing which we anticipate will lead to approximately 4,000 more people making use of the service.

    Situation

    Muchloved is an entirely web based charity which aims to help and support bereaved people by offering free creation and hosting of website memorial tributes for loved ones. We on a limited budget are striving to achieve our aim of supporting all bereaved people. As a web based charity our most effective method of marketing are links and adwords. We work in partnership with many charities who through Muchloved tributes can receive In Memorial donations. We offer a free customised Muchloved site in return for a link on their site and promotion to their supporters. We have over 50 charities registered on our partners scheme all of which have at least one link to Muchloved from their sites Adwords are our other made way of promoting the site. The adword wording has already been tested and amended to optimise its appeal to the most likely users of MuchLoved service - the words emphasise the ability to customise, control privacy and the sensitive appearance of our memorial websites. There is currently an estimated average cost per click of £0.27 therefore £10,000 annual budget will result in just over 37,000 hits to our website (people finding out about the service) which is 100 new people each day. Test promotional adverts show that currently every £2.46 of search marketing costs (approx every 9 hits) leads to a tribute actually being created, therefore a £10k annual budget will lead to approximately 4,065 new users [11 each day]
