Situation
Due to the success of ‘A New Direction’ in Brixton Prison, the Prison Service has granted us the ultimate accolade of an official accreditation. With this honour comes the unique opportunity to help many more men trapped in a life of crime and addiction. Meetings with governors have been encouraging and we have almost raised all of the funds necessary to launch in HMP Wormwood Scrubs. We have since been approached by HMP Wandsworth who were so impressed with the programme, they are offering us a dedicated wing which we intend to use as our flagship. We have received some monies both from the government and trusts for the expansion, but urgently require more so we can go on rebuilding broken lives.
