Situation
More than 1.2 million people in the UK use a wheelchair. Our aim is to help everyone whose lives could be transformed by our dogs. Our dogs work with people with even the most complex disabilities, such as cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, MS, brittle bones, polio, arthritis, spina bifida, spinal injuries and amputees including members of HM Armed Forces.
Solution
In order to continue training and providing our amazing dogs to disabled people we rely on donations from members of the public. This could be through a fundraising event, sponsorship of one of our dogs, a legacy or a one-off donation, therefore it is essential for us to continually raise awareness of the work we do.
