Our aim is to meet the demand for specially adapted minibuses from organisations supporting children with special needs, so that the children can be safely transported to the recreational and sporting activities that enrich their lives.

Children with special needs across the UK can miss out on the sports that improve their quality of life because they cannot reach these activities. We give specially adapted minibuses to as many relevant organisations as we can to ensure that children who need stimulating activities more than most can get to them. Since 1950 we have given away nearly 900 specially adapted minibuses, and on average we currently supply almost one new minibus (at £30,000 each) a week to worthy special needs organisations. Even with this impressive record we still fall short of meeting the demand and we would need an extra £300,000 a year to supply a minibus to all the worthy applications we receive. As such a cash injection of £500,000 or an annual commitment to help fund our minibus giveaways would reduce or even end us having to turn away worthy recipients.
